Dr. Selby traces its roots to Uruguay in the 1960s when the original formulation for the best selling and most trusted ointment in Latin America was created using a German recipe from 1800s. For over 60 years, three generations trusted the brand for its unique composition that enables its application in both healing and protection.

The manufacturing company, a family business, has maintained the same ownership keeping the renowned quality standard similar to that of top apothecaries.

The multi use aspect of the ointment has become a figure, which is embedded in the minds of consumers. This product is the most trusted: their parents and grandparents used it.
